Along the way, it slowly turns into a landscape of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. The pastoral scenery allows you to stay away from the noisy and bustling disputes and feel the long-lost tranquility. Chaka Salt Lake is a salt field with a history of more than 3,000 years. The lake water contains a lot of salt, which will naturally crystallize into a white lake surface, reflecting the sky, clouds and the mountains on the opposite bank in the lake. Qinghai Lake is the leader of my country's inland lakes (saltwater lakes). Its Tibetan name "Cowinbu" means "blue sea" and is the symbol of Qinghai. After the tour, return to Xining. Xining was formerly known as Xiping County and Qingtang City. It is known as the "key to the West Sea" and the "throat of Tibet". It is a shining pearl on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. After arriving in Xining, go to the snack street that gathers Northwest delicacies. Dinner is at your own expense in the snack street. Taste Xining on the Tip of the Tongue, among which the beef with sand, lamb tendon, bee tenderloin, Qinghai mooncakes, yogurt, lamb intestine noodles, etc. are all worth trying, with a strong Qinghai flavor. Visit Colorful Danxia (including inter-city train), which is now a world geological park and a national 5A-level tourist attraction. It is a highly complex scenic spot of colorful hills and Danxia landforms, and is known for its bright colors, interlaced layers, magnificent momentum and spectacular scenes. Then go to Jiayuguan to check in at the hotel. It is known as the most valuable cultural discovery in China in the 20th century and the Louvre of the East. The grottoes are more than 1,600 meters long from north to south, with five floors above and below, 735 caves, more than 2,000 statues, and 45,000 square meters of murals... As the largest and most content-rich treasure house of classical culture and art in my country, Mogao Grottoes can be called a miracle in the history of human culture, attracting the attention of the world. Then go to Liuyuan Railway Station to take the train to Turpan. "Turpan" means "a rich and fertile land" in Turkic. Turpan is also the center of Uyghur culture. Deserts, oases, and snow-capped mountains set off the lush grass and water at the foot of the Tianshan Mountains. There are herds of cattle and sheep. Turpan is also a famous producer of grapes and melons. (Because the drive from Dunhuang to Liuyuan takes about 2.5 hours, you need to set off in advance.
