Sydney Zoo is located in Bungarribee, a western suburb of Sydney, the capital of New South Wales, about 35 kilometers from downtown Sydney. It covers an area of ​​16.5 hectares and is adjacent to the Western Sydney Parklands.

Sydney Zoo is divided into six major sections: Africa, Primates, Asia, Australia, Aquarium, Reptiles and Nocturnal Areas.
