Sydney Zoo is located in Bungarribee, a western suburb of Sydney, the capital of New South Wales, about 35 kilometers from downtown Sydney. It covers an area of 16.5 hectares and is adjacent to the Western Sydney Parklands.
Sydney Zoo is divided into six major sections: Africa, Primates, Asia, Australia, Aquarium, Reptiles and Nocturnal Areas. As the first cage-free zoo in Australia, it is considered to be the zoo with the most complete animals, the most advanced equipment, and the most comfortable living environment for animals in Sydney and even in Australia. The space for displaying animals in the zoo is very open. Animals and visitors have a 360-degree open view and can see places miles away. When the weather is good, you can even see the scenery of the Blue Mountains in the distance, and visitors can overlook the free-range animals from the elevated walkway. The zoo has a rich variety of animals, including international exotics and native Australian animals. It is equipped with Australia's largest reptile house and nocturnal animal house. It is also the only zoo in Sydney that integrates an animal house and an aquarium. In addition to native Australian wombats, echidnas, dingoes, emus, koalas, Tasmanian devils and kangaroos, there are also animals from all over the world, including African lions, Sumatran tigers, cheetahs, African wild dogs, zebras, chimpanzees, baboons and other rare species.
Sydney Zoo provides free Wi-Fi. Visitors can connect to the park's fully covered wireless network and receive the schedule of animal feeding performances at any time. There are also five cafes and a restaurant in the park, with rich dishes to meet the dietary preferences of tourists from all over the world.

Public transportation: route 729 services travel to Sydney Zoo every 25-30 min from Blacktown and Mount Druitt train stations via Minchinbury. Route 723 services to Sydney Zoo every 15-30 min from Blacktown and Mount Druitt train station on weekdays.
