Historical background and basic information The main building of Sydney SEA LIFE Aquarium is under the water of Darling Harbour. It has a 146-meter underwater passage and all-arc glass viewing windows, allowing visitors to fully appreciate the underwater ecological environment. The aquarium displays a variety of Australian aquatic life, exhibiting more than 650 species, a total of more than 6,000 fish and various aquatic life from the Australian aquatic environment. The number of shark species raised in the aquarium is one of the best in the world. In addition, there are the world's largest platypus and dugong mermaids.
Featured exhibition areas and main exhibits Sydney SEA LIFE Aquarium has many featured exhibition areas, including the Great Barrier Reef, Deep Sea Area, Tasmanian Waters, Rocky Coast Area, Mangroves, Sydney Harbour Area, etc. The most famous exhibition areas include:
Great Barrier Reef Exhibition Area: Recreate the beautiful landscape of one of the most famous coral reefs in the world, the Great Barrier Reef, and display a variety of colorful tropical fish, corals and anemones. Shark Valley: Through a long glass tunnel, visitors can watch sharks and other large marine life up close. Penguin Island: Simulating the Antarctic ecosystem, visitors can watch penguins up close, and even take a boat to watch their daily lives up close. In addition, there is an interactive area in the museum where visitors can touch some marine life with their own hands and experience interactive projects such as shark diving.

Transportation Guide
Walking: Walk along Market Street or King Street for about 5-10 minutes
Light rail tram: Get off at Convention Centre or Pyrmont Bay stations
Train: Get off at Town Hall or Wynyard stations and walk a short distance to the destination
Ferry: Take the ferry from Pier 5 of Circular Quay to Darling Harbour and get off at Aquariumferry Wharf
